MYSORE: The Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), which is distributing sites at Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar and Shantaveri Gopalagowda Nagar, has asked the site applicants to check their database with the MUDA for mistakes and submit applications with corrections to its office.

In a press release issued here on Wednesday, MUDA Commissioner H.S. Ashokananda said the database was available on the website, On opening the website, a menu "Query for MUDA unique number" will appear and if details like applicants' name, number of attempts, category, dimension of the site and the date of birth had errors, they could be brought to the notice of the MUDA by submitting applications with necessary corrections on or before March 8. If there was change in residential address, the same could be informed in writing.

The commissioner said that sites to those who already owned a site or a house in any part of the State, allotted either by the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) or by the government or urban development authorities or any other authority, would not be allotted in Mysore.

The applicants had been asked to withdraw their applications if they owned a site or a house.

The MUDA would be forced to file criminal complaints against those who, despite owning a site or a house, secured site from the MUDA. Such sites would be confiscated from them after the allotment, the commissioner said.
