Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, and North Carolina A & T (NCAT) University will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Saturday to promote academic collaboration between the two institutions.
B.G. Sangameshwar, principal of the SJCE, said in a press release that the main objectives of the MoU were to enhance the quality of research in engineering through joint R&D activities and to provide opportunity for students and faculty members of the two institutions for professional and cultural exchange.
A delegation from NCAT University comprising Winser Alexander, dean; and Harold Martin Sr., chancellor, and Kunigal Shivakumar, professor of Mechanical Engineering and director of the Centre for Composite Material Research and Centre for Aviation Safety, will exchange the MoU.
Dr. Sangameshwar said the MoU would enable SJCE graduates to pursue master's and doctoral degrees at NCAT University, Greensboro, U.S., and there was scope for the present batch of undergraduate students to study one or more semesters in the partner institution.
It will enable SJCE graduates to pursue master's at U.S. varsity
