The Karnataka State Bus Owners' Federation in association with the Manipal Institute of Management will be organising a national conference on “Bus transport management – a futuristic approach” titled “Payana 2011” here on February 11 and 12. Federation president Rajavarma Ballal and institute director P. Ramakrishna Chadaga told presspersons here on Wednesday that the Union Law Minister M. Veerappa Moily would inaugurate the conference, while Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa would preside over the inaugural function.

Minister for Transport and Home R. Ashok would participate in the inaugural function. Shankarlinge Gowda, Principal Secretary, Department of Transport, would participate in the valedictory on the February 12, they said.

Conference chairperson K.V.M. Varambally was present.
