Mysore Industries’ Association (MIA) president P. Vishwanath and general secretary Suresh Kumar Jain will participate in the Indo-German Small and Medium Enterprises’ meet in New Delhi on May 31 and June 1.

The meet aims to discuss the opportunities available, share experiences on support policies, and support institutions between policymakers, associations and stakeholders. The meet also aims at holding one-on-one interactions, and networking to facilitate long-term business relationships between Indian and German associations with assistance from the German Chamber of Commerce, German Academy for International Cooperation (GIZ), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Small Industries Development Bank of India.

Mr. Vishwanath and Mr. Jain will make a presentation on the industrial policy of Karnataka, investment opportunities in Mysore, and hand-holding provided by the MIA, under the Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

GIZ has identified the MIA for capacity building under the MSME umbrella programme, a release stated.
