March on January 21

Members of the Karnataka Milk Producers’ and Employees’ Struggle Committee and the Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha will take out a march to the Vidhana Soudha on January 21 seeking minimum procurement price of Rs. 25 per litre of milk.

The march will be organised to urge government to ‘Save dairying to protect farmers’, KPRS general secretary G.C. Bayya Reddy told reporters here on Saturday.

The faulty policies of the Union and State governments coupled with the unbridled corruption in the KMF were ruining the dairy sector, he alleged.
