A farmer from Satoli village has complained that negligence of doctors in the district government hospital led to his son’s death.

Jagannath Bhangure said that his son Vijay Kumar, 35, was admitted to the hospital three days ago, after he complained of fever. However, doctors failed to diagnose the illness properly.

There were discrepancies in the blood test reports. Later, he was taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where he died of dengue,

Mr. Bhangure told presspersons outside the district hospital.

However, district health and family welfare officer Anil Chintamani denied the allegations.

Vijay Kumar died of multiple organ failure, caused by viral fever and complications, he said.

The patient’s family shifted him to Hyderabad, against doctors’ advice, he added.
