Sibichen K. Mathew, Regional Head (Karnataka and Kerala), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), called upon telecom consumers to make the best use of facilities provided to consumers.

Speaking at the Telecom Consumer Outreach programme held here on Friday, he said TRAI regulations included mobile number portability, unsolicited commercial communications and complaint redressal mechanism.

Dr. Mathew said the digitisation of cable TV network had been completed in four metros and 38 other cities across the country. There would be a complete transition to digital cable TV by the end of December 2014, he said.
