M.M. Hills was swarmed by thousands of devotees from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, who had come to attend the Malai Mahadeshwaraswamy Maharathotsava on Monday.

Devotees pulled a special car carrying an idol of Mahadeshwara from the temple in M.M. Hills on Monday morning. Devotees danced and sang songs in praise of the deity. Special pujas and rituals were conducted on the occasion, along with torchlight services (Panju Seve). — Correspondent
