Two other candidates filed papers in Gulbarga

Eleven candidates file papers in Bijapur district

GULBARGA: The former Minister A.B. Maalakaraddy and two other candidates filed their nomination papers in Gulbarga district on Tuesday.

Mr. Maalakaraddy filed his papers as the Congress candidate for Yadgir Assembly Constituency.

Two independents, Somasekhar Baganna and Ghalib Pasha Abdul Kareem filed their nomination papers from Gulbarga (North) and Gulbarga South Assembly Constituencies respectively.

In Bijapur district, 11 candidates filed their nomination papers from seven of the eight Assembly constituencies in the district. Janata Dal (Secular) candidate Shivaputrappa Desai filed his papers from Devarhippargi Assembly Constituency and Shankar Natikar, an independent also filed his papers from the same constituency.

Basavaraj Rudrappa Dhumbati, an independent was the lone candidate to file his papers from Basavana Bagewadi Assembly Constituency.

In Bableshwar Assembly Constituency Vijaykumar Siddaramgowda filed his papers as the Janata Dal (S) candidate.

In the Bijapur City Assembly Constituency, two independents Zareena Feroz Sheikh and Ishwargowda Ramanagowda Patil filed their papers.

In Nagathan (SC) Constituency Rajput Basavaraj Gopu filed his papers as the BJP candidate.

In Indi Assembly segment, farmer leader Panchappa Kalburgi filed two sets of nomination papers as the Janata Dal (S) candidate and independent candidate.

In Sindagi, Kotargasti Shivanna Parmanna of the Janata Dal (United) and independent candidates Ghattargi Mallu Avvappa and Pardal Vishwanath Siddappa filed their papers.

In Bagalkot district, two nomination papers were filed in Jamkhandi Assembly constituency.
