The All-India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) is organising a seminar, ‘Tele-assessment and tele-intervention for persons with communication disorders’, on February 21 and 22.

It will be held at the seminar hall of the institute here.

The seminar is being held with an aim to enhance the scope of the Centre for Rehabilitation and Education through Distance Mode. The centre was set up five years ago to reach out to persons with communication disorders who could not access the services of AIISH because of geographical constraints.

N. Rathna, the former director of AIISH, will deliver the keynote address on technology-enabled service delivery, such as videoconference, Skype, webinars and other Internet resources, in speech-language pathology and audiology.

Professionals or postgraduate students may register at the venue on the day of the seminar. Contact R. Manjula, professor and Head, CREDM, at 0821-251449 or 2515448 or 251580 (ext: 262) or email rmanjula08@gmail.com
