The Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) conducted a series of lectures on food adulteration to create public awareness on the issue.

In a release, M.N. Ranganath of the MGP said lectures and demonstrations on detecting food adulteration were conducted at the Depaul International Residential School and College, Belagola, Taralabalu Samagama, Tilak Nagar, NSS camp of the JSS University and Pharmacy College, Jeemaranahalli, among others.

The MGP also conducted the programme in colleges in Madikeri and Periyapatna.
