‘LEAD Prayana 2014’ from January 7

Programme is open to youngsters aged between 18 and 25

The Deshpande Foundation’s LEAD (Leaders Accelerating Development) has announced the schedule for its novel programme ‘LEAD Prayana 2014’.

This journey-on-wheels, to unleash leadership potential among the youth, will begin next January.

According to Sudheendra Devale, event coordinator, the journey facilitates a unique opportunity for youngsters to meet leaders and learn about their life and personality traits.

Under the programme, the youth will get a chance to visit Agastya International Foundation, Kuppam (Andhra Pradesh); Infosys Campus, Mysore; Manipal University; Dharmasthala; Suttur Math, Mysore); and ISKCON, Bangalore; among others.

The journey of 12 days will culminate at Hubli for the ‘YUVA Summit’. The journey includes panel sessions with leaders such as Ratan Tata, Chairman, TATA Sons; Narayan Murthy, Chairman Emeritus, Infosys Foundation; Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari, Dharmasthala; Sudha Murty, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation; Gururaj Deshpande, Founder, Deshpande Foundation; Raghunath Mashelkar, Bhatnagar Fellow; Ramji Raghavan, Founder and Chairman, Agastya International Foundation; Hairsh Hande, Founder, SELCO; Phanindra Sama, Founder and CEO, Redbus.in; and Naveen Jha, CEO, Deshpande Foundation.

The programme is open to all youngsters between 18 and 25 years of age.

Those interested may register by paying Rs. 100.

After submitting the application form (to be provided after filling registration form), an interview will be held.
