M.G. Krishnan on Thursday assumed charge as Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU).

Registrar B.S. Vishwanath, who was holding additional charge as Vice-Chancellor, handed over charge to Prof. Krishnan, who was earlier Registrar of Bangalore University. The Vice-Chancellor’s post was vacant for nearly a month after K.S. Rangappa took charge as Vice-chancellor of University of Mysore.

KSOU officials welcomed Prof. Krishnan. The new Vice-Chancellor later met the staff and spoke to them

Prof Krishnan said he was delighted over his appointment. He has over 36 years of teaching experience and has served in various capacities during his career.
