BANGALORE: The Karnataka Milk Federation Mother Dairy at Yelahanka on Monday launched six new products — two flavoured milk, skimmed milk, curds, dairy whitener, spiced butter milk and ice creams in different packages. With this inclusion, the range of Nandini products has gone up to 36 which is the largest next only to Amul of Gujarat.

In addition, the entire range of its products has been repackaged in new colour combination and graphics.

Cine artiste Anu Prabhakar launched the new products. Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, D.V. Prasad, and Secretary, Cooperation Department, P. Ravikumar, were present. KMF chairman H.D. Revanna was not able to make it to the launch function.

The KMF was doing a business of Rs. 2,000 crore per annum and has 19.50 lakh dairy farming families as its members. The federation collects 30 lakh litres of milk and sells 25 lakh litres in the State. The KMF has 13 district milk unions as members.
