Kanara District Central Cooperative (KDCC) Bank has registered a net profit of Rs. 3.40 crore for the financial year 2012-13, last year it was Rs. 2.85 crore, said the bank’s president Shantaram Hegde Shigehalli in a release on Wednesday. Share capital has been increased from Rs. 2046.38lakh to Rs. 2488.65 lakh ,funds from Rs. 6346.51 lakh to Rs. 6749.76 lakh and deposits from Rs. 776.82 crore to Rs. 921.26 crore in the present financial year.

Cooperative awards

Cooperative award installed in the name of noted cooperative leader late G.S. Hegde Ajjibal has been conferred on Ganapayya Kanna Gouda of Gunavante in Honnavar taluk and M.R. Hegde Hulgol in Sirsi taluk.
