Bangalore: The Second Fast Track Sessions Court on Friday granted bail to Karthik K. Somaiah, who allegedly killed four elderly people in a road accident on January 24.

Karthik, an operations manager with a private company in the city, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and drove his luxury car on a footpath on Indiranagar 100-ft road near Doopanahalli early January 24, killing them. The judge, Jeevan Rao Kulakarni, granted bail to the accused on production of a personal bond of Rs. 50,000 and surety.

Karthik has been asked not to tamper with evidence and harass witnesses.
