BANGALORE: The Karnataka government on Tuesday constituted a regulatory committee for admission of students to professional colleges. The former acting Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, B. Padmaraj, has been named as the chairman of the committee.

The State government issued an order nominating Mr. Padmaraj as the chairman and with two members and a member-secretary. The committee will also have a representative of the Medical Council of India/All India Council of Technical Education/Dental Council of India as a member, apart from Government officials.
