BELLARY: G. Janardhan Reddy, Minister for Tourism and mine owner, did not attend the Sandur court on Monday to get the non-bailable warrant issued against him recalled. This is the fifth time Mr. Reddy has failed to appear before the court after the warrant was issued against him in December 2009. The warrant was issued in connection with a case filed by Tapal Narayan Reddy, accusing the Minister of destroying the inter-State border and of encroaching upon his mining area in Tumti village.
