Chamarajanagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius on Friday.

According to a release from the Indian Meteorological Department, Bangalore, cold wave conditions prevailed over some interior parts of the State.

Temperature was below normal at most places.

The forecast, valid for the next two nights, said cold wave conditions would prevail over some interior parts of the State.

Mysore, which registered 11.1 degrees C on Thursday, continued to remain cold on Friday with a temperature of 11.7 degrees C.

The minimum temperature had shown a deviation of minus 7 degrees C from the normal, the release added.
