The 8th International Children’s Film Festival will be held in five cities — Mysore, Bangalore, Mangalore, Hubli and Dharwad — from January 9.

In Mysore, five Indian films and one Sri Lankan film would be screened at Olympia theatre here from January 9 to 11.

There will be two shows a day — at 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. First up on Wednesday is Ball Pen , a Kannada film directed by Shashikanth. The second film is King Siri , a Sri Lankan film directed by Somaratne Dissanayake.

On Thursday, Prasad , a Kannada film directed by Manoj Sati would be screened, followed by Siddaganga (Kannada) directed by G. Murthy.

On Friday, Kruthi (Kannada) directed by P.R. Ramadasa Naidu and Prarthana (Kannada) directed by Sadashiva Shenoy would be screened.
