The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), a non-profit organisation committed to the promotion of culture and heritage, will open a branch in Gulbarga on Friday. Hyderabad Karnataka Development Board (HKDB) chairman Amarnath Patil will inaugurate the chapter.

INTACH Karnataka coordinator G. Asvathanarayan, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Secretary Shalini Rajneesh, HKDB secretary S.A. Kataraki and others will speak.

Later, at a seminar on the cultural heritage of Gulbarga, experts will speak on the places of cultural interest and heritage monuments in the city and district. — Staff Correspondent
