Infosys has partnered with the Service Research and Innovation Institute (SRII) and International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bangalore, to host the 3rd International Conference on Services in Emerging Markets (ICSEM) on Infosys campus in Mysore between December 12 and 15.

The conference will focus on how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can provide further growth and productivity for major service sectors, including government, education, healthcare, telecom and manufacturing, a release said.

Leaders from ICT companies with research organisations, academia and government from around the world are expected to attend the conference.

The four-day conference will host a series of panel discussions on topics, including IT innovation and application for healthcare, agriculture, education and governance, among others. Parallel tutorial sessions and paper presentations from students are also planned at the event, said a release.

Kris Singh, president and chairman, Service Research and Innovation Institute; Subu Goparaju, senior vice-president and Head, Infosys Labs, Infosys; Satyanarayan Gangaram Pitroda (Sam Pitroda), Adviser to the Prime Minister of India on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations; Ajit Singh, partner, Artiman Ventures; Anil Kumar Gupta, professor at the Centre for Management in Agriculture, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; Vijay Anand, CEO of Intuit India; Sangita Reddy, Executive Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group; M.G.P.L. Narayana, vice-president, Business Systems and Cybernetics Centre; Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.; Rajeeb Hazra, vice-president, Intel Architecture Group; and Shubha Ramnath, Director of IT Services, India at Citrix, are among the people who are expected to attend the conference.
