INCOMEX-2013, an industrial and commerce exhibition, will be held at Hubli-Dharwad Multipurpose Exhibition Centre at APMC yard in Amargol from Friday.

Speaking to presspersons here on Sunday, Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) president N.P. Javali said all 350 stalls have been booked, but gems and jewellery firms would not participate in the event, due to security issues.

The exhibition will have eight seminars under the ‘Ivestalk’ series and 11 vendor development programmes.

Resource persons

Basavaraj Katgeri, Dinesh Badagondi, Mahesh Mashal, Shankar Jadhav, Sukanya Hegde and M.Mahadevappa will be resource persons for the seminars which will be held from September 14 to 16. Colleges in North Karnataka region have been invited for the seminar series. Talks will be held on topics like IT, partnerships, agriculture and tourism.

A total of 19 stalls will be part of the ‘North Karnataka shining’ pavilion, which will showcase organic jaggery, pottery, handloom, stone carving and food items of the region. Music, dance and cultural programmes would be held at 5 p.m. on September 14, 15 and 16.
