The Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya on Friday observed a World Peace Day on the occasion of 44th Ascension Anniversary of the institution’s founder, Prajapita Brahma, at its main centre at Mahantesh Nagar here.

Addressing the gathering, Regional Director of the vidyalaya B.K. Ambika emphasised the need for spiritual and moral values in life as preached by Prajapita Brahma.

Tributes

Paying tributes to the founder, she said Prajapita Brahma was a great human being who stood for the establishment of a value-based world against all odds.

He saw himself as a spiritual student and set an example to be followed by people all over the world to lead happier, peaceful and contented lives.

Sessions

As part of the programme, she said that special meditation programmes were held simultaneously at 9,000 centres across 135 countries to mark the occasion.
