A swarm of honeybees stung about 22 persons at Kedur village in Kundapur taluk on Monday after their hive was disturbed when a branch from a tree fell on it in the nearby woods.

Arpita B.K., Medical Officer of Kedur Primary Health Centre (PHC), said on Tuesday that honeybees stung 15 students of Government High School, one pre-university college student, the Panchayat Development Officer and five adults.
