An opportunity to discover the beauty of Mysore and appreciate its architectural splendour through ‘Heritage Walk’ is back after a brief interlude.

The concept of Heritage Walk entails taking participants on a tour to the city’s prominent landmarks; the itinerary includes visiting a dozen structures within walking distance. This year’s walk during Dasara will be held on October 18 and 19 and will commence from the Town Hall and cover Silver Jubilee Clock Tower, Free Mason Building, Chamarajendra Circle, Amba Vilas Palace, K.R. Circle, Dufferin Clock Tower, Devaraja Market, K.R. Hospital, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, Ayurvedic Hospital and culminate at Chamarajendra Technical Institute on Sayyaji Rao Road. Heritage Walk subcommittee president G. Gayatri said Minister for Urban Development, Law and Parliamentary Affairs S. Suresh Kumar would flag off the walk.
