A portion of a house was damaged and an uprooted tree fell on an autorickshaw in Ullal following heavy rainfall from Wednesday.

According to the Ullal Town Municipal Council officials, the front portion of the tile-roof house of Jawaramma, a beedi worker, in Kotepura, near Ullal beach, collapsed on Wednesday. No one was injured. Chief Officer of Council Rayappa said officials had visited Jawaramma's house and had assessed the damage at Rs. 80,000.

On Thursday, a tree fell on an autorickshaw that was parked near the Ullal Bus Stand. Meanwhile, another tree was uprooted near Cashew Factory in the vicinity of Marigudi Temple, Urwa, on Thursday blocking the road leading to some residential localities.
