Bangalore: It was an occasion to remember with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple celebrating the fifth day of the Brahmotsava on Saturday.

The idols of the presiding deities of the temple were taken out on "Hanumad Vahana," a press release said.

"Hanuman was Rama's greatest devotee. The vahana demonstrates the unlimited service and bhakti (devotion) of a devotee to Lord Rama. The idols of Sri Radha Krishna were decorated in the "Sitarama Pattabhisheka Alankara," the release added

A Mohiniattam performance by Girija Chandran from Regatta Institute of Dance, Kerala, was the highlight of the evening's cultural extravaganza.

Shyamala G. Bhave also performed "Sri Rama Namamrutha," which added to the mood of the day.
