Narendra Babu, former MLA, have apprised the All India Congress Committee General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi, of the urgent need to conserve forest wealth in view of the water crisis being faced by the country.

They met Mr. Rahul Gandhi at Cauvery Lodge in the Nagarahole Wild Life Sanctuary. Mr. Rahul Gandhi reportedly told them to send a detailed report to him so that he would study it and forward it to those responsible for framing forest policies.

Mr. Krupakara and Mr. Senani said that instead of limiting the issue merely for wildlife protection, they apprised Mr. Rahul Gandhi of various issues confronted in conservation of forests.
