The SME Promotion & Entrepreneurship Development (SPED) Committee of Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) has invited two prominent entrepreneurs Deep Kalra, Founder and CEO of and Mr. Sanjeev Goel, Founder and Managing Director of Intec Capital Ltd. to share their experiences.

An interaction event to be held on September 7 at Taj Vivanta in the city at 4.30 p.m. is expected to attract entrepreneurs, industry experts, SMEs, academics and CEOs from Goa. The event will bring focus on entrepreneurship and ingenuity and skills of scaling up of business in India.

“This event hopes to throw up an intuitive quality of ideas and invigorate talent that we hope shall build the next generation of multi-billion dollar businesses,” said Mr. Gautam Verlekar of SPED, GCCI, on Saturday.

Goa is scheduled to have a renewed industrial policy framework as a stepping stone for the industrial development.

Apart from mining, tourism and hospitality and fisheries, Goa is fast becoming a hub for pharmaceuticals and information technology with presence of about 50 multinational companies. Mr. Verlekar said that with its highest per capita GDP in the country and one of the highest literate population,
