It is a device with advance safety features for LPG cylinders

BANGALORE: Gas leakages and cylinder blasts pose a potential threat to life, but these could be completely eliminated now with a device called “Gas Safe” according to a manufacturer, Gas Safe India.

“Gas Safe”, which was launched here on Tuesday, is a device with advanced safety features, used for domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders. It has a high pressure control sensor with a safety valve and a pressure gauge. So when there is a gas leakage, the sensor detects the fault and shuts the valve preventing any further gas leakage. Besides this the sensor maintains a constant gas flow to the burner in normal conditions.

The pressure gauge is a meter which indicates the gas pressure of the cylinder and thus indicates when it is the right time to refill the gas.

“The company gives a warranty of three years but the life expectancy of the device is 30 years,” said J.P. Sudarshan, Regional Manager, South Zone, Gas Safe India. “The company will also sign an insurance policy with every client, wherein it will pay Rs. 25 lakh in case of an accident if caused by the failure of the device,” he said.

For details on the device, call Ph: 9448562701, 9945274040.
