BANGALORE: The Nelamangala police raided a house at Kuluvanahalli village in Nelamangala on Tuesday night and seized several cartons of liquor, steel pots and saris. The police said the stocks were allegedly meant to be distributed among voters during the campaign for the coming gram panchayat election.

The police have questioned a man identified as Jayaram. The police said that his son-in-law Hyalappa is contesting for the gram panchayat election.
