Bangalore: The Ulsoor Gate Police have arrested four persons on charges of robbing an advocate. The miscreants had allegedly robbed Sharanabasappa of Rs. 600, a mobile phone and a jacket on August 2 near the City Civil Courts.

The police gave the names of the arrested as Raj (22), Kanta alias Lokesh Kumar (19), Babloo alias Sayyed Ibrahim (20), and Parameshi (19). Two mobile phones and a jacket were recovered from them. The police said the accused had been involved in a similar case earlier.

The four had allegedly waylaid and robbed two persons on Sheshadri Road and had taken away their mobile phones.

The accused were presented before the court and have been remanded in judicial custody for 15 days.


The special wing of Ulsoor Gate sub-division arrested two persons and seized four two-wheelers worth Rs. 1.2 lakh from them.

The arrested have been identified as Nagaraj alias Naga and Sreenivas alias Seena. Of the four vehicles, owners of three vehicles have been identified, police said. Police said that the accused to steal two-wheelers parked in front of houses in the night.

Cases have been filed against the accused in Audugodi, Koramangala, Mico Layout, Siddapura and Wilson Garden police stations.
