SHIMOGA: A delegation led by members of the Shimoga District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SDCCI) submitted a memorandum to the Superintending Engineer of MESCOM here on Wednesday seeking action to set right unscheduled load shedding.
The members said that though the State Government promised that it would provide uninterrupted power supply to the districts where electricity was generated, the MESCOM authorities acted against it.
They said that industries in Shimoga district faced problems owing to unscheduled load shedding.
The members urged the MESCOM authorities to take steps to ensure proper power supply.
The delegation was led by SDCCI president K.V. Vasant Kumar and office-bearers Gopinath and K.S. Ananthramaiah.
