HASSAN: Zilla panchayat Chief Executive Officer F.R. Jamaadar advised doctors to take care of health of people particularly in rural areas. He presided over the quarterly review meeting of the leprosy eradication programme in Hassan on Wednesday.

Timely advice

Mr. Jamaadar said the rural masses should get timely advice, treatment and health education that would go a long way in building a healthy rural India. He also said multi-drug therapy was a time bound treatment that cured leprosy within a short period and that medicines were available free of cost in all Government hospitals and Primary Health Centres in the district.
