In view of the polling for Goa State Legislative Assembly, the State Government has declared imposed a ban on sale of liquor from 5.00 p.m. from Thursday, March 1 till 5.00 p.m. of Saturday, March 3, and the whole of Tuesday, March 6. All licensed premises for sale of liquor shall be closed on specified days. The bar owners have been asked to display a board on their premises stating that no liquor would be served and only restaurant was open for serving food. Any violation would be viewed seriously, warned State Excise Department on Wednesday. — Special Correspondent
