The demand for a direct train from Hubli to Gulbarga will finally be fulfilled with Union Minister for Railways Mallikarjun Kharge flagging off the ‘special train’ between Hubli and Secunderabad on Wednesday.

The inaugural special train, the Hubli-Secunderabad express (No. 07319), will leave Hubli at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday and reach Secunderabad station at 3.30 a.m. the next day.

The train will stop at Annigeri, Gadag, Hole Alur, Badami, Bagalkot, Almatti, Basavana Bagewadi Road, Bijapur, Indi Road, Hotgi, Gangapur Road, Gulbarga, Wadi, Chittapur, Sedam, Tandur, Vikarabad, Lingampalli and Begumpet Station in both directions.

In addition, Mr. Kharge will also be flagging off the inaugural Special Hubli-Lokamanya Tilak Terminus, Kurla (No.07317) from the Hubli railway station which will depart at 11.30 a.m. and arrive at Kurla at 4.40 a.m. the next day.

The regular Secunderabad-Hubli tri-weekly express (No. 17320) will depart from Secunderabad at 4 p.m. on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays from October 3, and arrive at Hubli at 7.50 a.m. the next day.

Hubli-Secunderabad express (No.17319) will depart from Hubli at 12 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and reach Secunderabad at 3.30 a.m. the next day.
