Zilla panchayat president Ratnavva Kallimani resigned from her post here on Wednesday, following which vice-president Fakirappa Jakkannavar took charge as the president in-charge.

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer P.A. Meghannavar said Ms. Kallimani had given her resignation to the State government on August 26.
