Chief Executive Officer of the Kodagu Zilla Panchayat N. Krishnappa on Thursday laid emphasis on developing scientific temper.

He said the people had not been able to get the better of superstitious beliefs in spite of the tremendous progress being made on the science and technology front.

He was speaking at the Saraswati Teachers Training College here at a function organised to mark the 30th Founding Day of the Karnataka Vijnana Parishat.
