The Karnataka State Gangamatasta Yuvajana Sangha has urged the State government to set up an authority to preserve historical monuments related to Ambigara Choudaiah, a 12th century social reformer.

In a press release, sangha president Manoj Kumar Karjagi said the monuments in Narasimhapur and Choudaiah Danapur needed to be developed on lines of Kudalasangama in Bidar district.

Mr. Karjagi said Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar should have made announcement in this regard in the State Budget. — Staff Correspondent
