MANGALORE: The Mangalore Lakshadweep Conference has urged the Centre to increase the frequency of ferry services between Mangalore and Lakshadweep and bring down the fares of helicopter services and also airfare from various destinations in the mainland to the islands. According to convener of Mangalore Lakshadweep conference M.K. Jamaluddin Faizy, the conference had at a recent meeting urged the Centre to have a functionary of the administration to look into the connectivity to Lakshadweep. — Special Correspondent
