Raichur: Members of the City Municipal Daily-wage Employees’ Association, who have been staging a dharna here for the past 14 days, have threatened to stop working from Monday demanding that the Government increase their wages and provide facilities on a par with other employees in the city municipality. Talking to presspersons here on Saturday, S. Mareppa, president of the association, said that about 200 employees had been serving as contract workers on daily wagesbut no action had been taken to provide them with proper wages .
