Sapthaswara Arts and Creations will organise a five-day cultural festival, “Sankrama 2012”, from February 25. The festival, in its 14{+t}{+h}year, will feature dance, Carnatic music, sugam sangeet and film music by renowned artistes. The programmes for the first three days — Sugam Sangeet by young and upcoming artistes Manojavam, Anirudh and others, (February 25) and film music (February 26 and 27) — will be held at the Samsa Open Air Theatre. The dance programme on February 28 and 29 will be held at Ravindra Kalakshetra. Joint Director of Kannada and Culture Department Balavanthrao Patil will take part in the inaugural function.
