The Congress need not resort to the “wrong path” to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party, Union Minister for Law and Justice Veerappa Moily said here on Saturday.


On the sidelines of the graduation ceremony of St. Aloysius College here, Mr. Moily was asked by presspersons to comment on allegations that he and Congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary were trying to dislodge the B.S. Yeddyurappa Government in the State. He replied that the Congress would face the BJP in elections and not “resort to (the) wrong path”.

‘Poor support'

In the recent Assembly elections in five States, the BJP did not got support of the people, and the same would happen in Karnataka, he said.
