All India Congress Committee (AICC) is going to constitute a co-ordination committee and manifesto implementation committee within a week. According to sources, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, who is in-charge of the party affairs in Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president G. Parameshwara will be members in the two committees. However, the chairpersons of these two committees is yet to be announced. Dr. Parameshwara, who discussed these issues with the party high command, has said that the leaders also deliberated on the possible candidates for the Legislative Council elections from Dharwad, Mysore and Chitradurga. Dr. Parameshwara, who briefed the AICC vice-president and MP Rahul Gandhi about the candidates to be fielded from Mandya and Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha constituencies, said that Mr. Siddaramaiah and he will visit New Delhi on August 2 and finalise the candidates. — Special Correspondent
