Karnatak Univesity’s Department of Chemistry will hold the three-day 32nd annual conference of the Indian Council of Chemists (ICC) from Thursday. Vice-Chancellor H.B. Walikar said nearly 350 delegates from across the country will take part in the conference. The conference will be held in five parallel technical sessions on ‘Recent advances in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical and pharmaceutical/biochemistry’. During the conference, a competition for the Young Scientist award will be conducted. Registrar Chandramma Kanagali will be chief guest and ICC Secretary Rajesh Dhakarey will preside over the function. — Staff Correspondent
