HASSAN: M.P. Harish, a coffee grower of Bage village in Sakleshpur taluk, complained to the Sakleshpur town police on Monday that coffee seeds had been stolen. He said he had put 25 bags containing coffee seeds to dry in front of his house in Halavalli Coffee Estate, but they were found missing. Superintendent of Police K.V. Sharatchandra said a case has been registered.

In another incident K.M. Shivaraju of Halebelur village in Sakleshpur taluk, in a complaint to the police on Monday, said he had put 20 bags of Arabica coffee seeds to dry in front of his house. He later found seven bags missing. A case has been registered. — Staff Correspondent
