Taking serious note of the agitation against setting up of the recreation club on a public ground here, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah spoke to Hubli Sports Ground Bachao Samiti (HSGBS) honorary president and veteran journalist Patil Puttappa over telephone on Sunday.

Mr. Siddaramaiah told Mr. Puttappa that he had issued instructions to the District in-charge Minister Santosh Lad in this regard. He said the government, after considering the pros and cons, would take a pro-people decision over this issue. Mr. Siddharamaiah said as he would be visiting China, he would look into the matter once he returned.
