Members of the district unit of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions took out a rally here on Friday demanding that the minimum wages of agriculture and industrial labourers be revised immediately. They also said that the minimum wages of daily-wage workers should be revised at regular intervals, based on the general price index. Free healthcare and adequate protection for labourers working in hazardous industries were among their other demands. R.P. Raja and others led the protest.
