Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) district unit president Gandhinagar Narayanaswamy has urged workers in the unorganised sector to get united to wage struggles against their exploitation and to get better facilities.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Srinivasapur taluk-level conference of CITU recently. Labourers in the unorganised sector are working without any job security and for meagre wages, Mr. Narayanaswamy said. Taluk CITU president G. Eshwaramma presided over the meeting.
